A pilot pharmacokinetic study was performed at the IPHYs CAS, which included the determination of the concentration of the experimental drug in the plasma of rats and also in the brain tissue after intraperitoneal administration of the drug. This study required precise brain perfusion of experimental animals and homogenization of the perfused tissue.
